Q: What is your standard shipping method?
Our standard shipping method for US orders is USPS 1st class or UPS Ground, depending on the item size. This method usually takes 4-6 days to arrive. We also offer Priority shipping, which takes 2-3 days. And Express shipping which takes 1-2 days depending on your location and when you put in the order. All shoes and boots are shipped UPS ground and take 4-6 days.


Q: What is your Express shipping?
Most items are sent USPS Overnight Express and take 1-2 days depending on when the order is filled.


Q: Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we will ship all products (except shoes and boots) internationally, anywhere! Standard international is USPS 1st class and takes 7-14 days, Priority is 5-7 days and Express is 3-5 days.


Q: What are your shipping costs?
You can view an estimate of your shipping costs by viewing your cart. Shipping charges are based on location, speed of delivery and cart total. For international orders, you will not get a shipping estimate until you go through the checkout and enter your country.


Q: If I order today, when will my items ship?
Non-custom orders are usually filled in 1-2 days, with many going out the same day the order is placed.

Q: Can you guarantee I will get my order by a certain date?
The only guaranteed shipping method is USPS Express. All other shipping times are an estimate. If you need an item by a certain date, please contact us and we will let you know if it will make it in time.



Q: How can I view the status of my order?
A: You can check your order by clicking on the tab at the top left that says "Service", then put your confirmation number in the box and click "go." If you created an account, click the "Sign In" link at the top of any page, right hand side. You will be able to log-in and view the status and shipping info of any order. You must use the SAME e-mail you used when you ordered. It is also case-sensitive.


Q: I have a question about my order! Who do I contact?

A: The easiest way to get an answer about anything website related is to e-mail That e-mail goes directly to Three Muses owner Candy, who handles everything related to the website and all orders through Three Muses, eBay and Etsy. Most store employees do not work with the website and will not be able to answer questions if you call the store.


Q: What is your return policy?
We accept returns on all unopened, unworn items except custom costumes. Alterations are free on custom work, so we work with you until it's just the way you want it. Customer is responsible for shipping costs on returned items and shipping is not refundable. Returns must be postmarked within 10 days of original delivery and returned in the same condition it arrived- unworn with tags attached. If there is any evidence the item has been worn or damaged (make-up on collar, smells of smoke/perfume, scuffs on shoes, etc.) no refund will be issued. Upon receipt of your return, we will issue the refund for the price of the item minus shipping costs. Refund will be given by the same method used for original payment.


Q: What methods of payment do you accept?
A: We accept everything! - Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, money orders and checks mailed to our store address and payment through, which also processes all credit cards and even takes personal checks. Please note, it will take 3 - 4 days for a check to clear before items are sent.


Q: How do I pay with a check or money order?
A: Print your order invoice and mail payment to Three Muses Inspired Clothing,
11570 San Jose Blvd., Ste. 16, Jacksonville, FL 32223. We will hold your order for up to 5 days until payment arrives and will send you a shipping notice when it is sent. Please note that personal checks take 3 - 4 days to clear.


Q: How can I tell if an item is in stock?
A: All items on the website except shoes and boots are in-stock in the boutique, unless otherwise noted on item listing. Our inventory is updated on a constant basis. Most smaller items like hosiery and petticoats are regularly stocked in quantities of 6 or more, but that varies by item and season. We can also offer special pricing on larger quantity orders. Please contact us for details.

If you absolutely need to receive your order by a specific date, please contact us before ordering so that we can confirm the stock levels of the product that you are interested in.


Q: Do you charge sales tax?
A: Yes, we currently charge a 7% to sales for orders shipped to FL only


Q: Can I place an order online and pick it up at your store?
A: Yes, you can pick items up at the store. If you make a purchase online, you will have the option to choose "store pick-up" and avoid shipping charges.


Q: Why does the price on certain items fluctuate?
Prices on handmade items will go up during rush times, such as Halloween season. The increase in price reflects a rush fee and faster shipping when needed. Prices are usually lowest during summer months. Check our blog at for announcements of impending price increases.


Q: What brands do you offer?
Leg Avenue, Elegant Moments, Empire Intimates, Elope, Rubies Costumes, Secret Wishes, Pleaser Shoes, Demonia Shoes, Lucious, Bordello, Fantasma, Folter, Sourpuss, Solstice and our own Three Muses Inspired Clothing. We also carry a wide selection of local artist’s work including Adorable Foxie leg warmers and tails, Jessabell’s Jewels fascinators, Bad Tulle tutus and more.



Q: Are all the items on the website available in the boutique?
Yes! Plus we have many items in the boutique that are not yet online. The only thing we don’t fully stock is the shoes and boots, but we carry a small selection of the most popular ones in the store.


Q. Where are you located?

A. The boutique is in the Mandarin area of Jacksonville, located at 11570 San Jose Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32223. We are on the 2nd floor of Mandarin Square. The building is near the intersection of Loretto and San Jose Blvd, about two miles south of the I-295 overpass on the righthand side. We are in the plaza with Avis Rent-a-Car, Debbie’s Dance and Gracie Jiu-Jitsu.


Q. What are your store hours?

A. We are open Tuesday-Friday 12-6 and Saturday 11-5. Any changes to hours, will be posted on the front page of the website. We do sometimes close the store when traveling for conventions.


Q. Do you carry Plus Sizes?

A. Yes! We carry costumes up to 4X and corsets up to 7X. We are always expanding our plus size selection due to the constant requests for cute things in more sizes.



Q. Do you do corset fittings?

A. Yes, we are Jacksonville’s most experienced corsetieres and will be happy to take your measurements and fit you in the proper size. If you aren’t local, feel free to call the store or e-mail for help choosing the best size. Candy and Brema are our in-store corset experts.


Q. What sizes do you carry?

A. Our corsets go from XXS to 7X, though not all styles are available in all sizes. We can always order something if we don't have it stock in your size.


Q. What brand of corsets do you carry?

A. Empire Intimates, Vintage Goth, Living Dead Souls, Corset Deal, Leg Avenue, Elegant Moments, Roma Costume, Sourpuss, H&R London and our own Three Muses label.


Q. Do you make corsets at the store?

A. No, we have our own line of corsets privately manufactured to our specifications, which is why we can offer them at such a decent price. These are the same corsets being sold for $200 elsewhere, which is what they would cost if we personally made each one.


Q. Do you have steel boned corsets?

A. Yes, we carry both steel and acrylic boned corsets, but all Three Muses brand corsets are steel boned. Our corsets are spiral steel boning on the sides and flat steel in front and back.


Q. How much do the corsets cost?

A. The acrylic boned corsets range from $25-$45 and the steel boned styles range from $55 to $200. The average cost for a Three Muses corset is $65 for overbust and $55 for an underbust.


Q. Can I tight lace or waist train with these corsets?

A. Yes, all Three Muses brand corsets are suitable for tight lacing and waist training. We offer plain black, white and nude waist cinchers specifically for those wishing to wear them daily under clothes.


Q. Can you special order corsets in different colors or sizes?

A. Yes! We can order any of our corset styles in a wide variety of fabrics, colors and sizes.


Q. Do you do corset alterations or mending?

A. Yes, but we only for corsets bought from our boutique. As corsets are considered intimate items, we ask that you please have your corset cleaned before bringing it in for alterations.


Q. What styles of corsets do you carry?

A. We offer a wide variety of styles covering a little of everything from the smallest waspie waist cinchers to long lined overbust corsets.


Q. Do corsets hurt to wear? Will I be able to breathe?

A. A good corset makes you feel better when you put it on. It shapes your body the way you want, makes you stand taller and sit straighter. If you have back problems, it often alleviates the pain in your lower back and gives you support. A well-fitted corset will never hurt you. And you control the lacing so you should never tighten until you can’t breathe. Usually people who have bad painful corset experiences are those wearing the cheap acrylic styles. They are pretty and cheap, but really only good for a couple wears before they will start to warp and bend. We carry this type of corset because some people just want a simple piece for a one-night costume. If you are looking for a real corset that will last for years, then you should consider investing in a steel boned corset.


Q. Are all your corsets available online?

A. Not yet! We are still working on adding more corsets and always have new ones coming in. We stock nearly 100 different corsets in the store and only have a small portion added to the website. We are working on adding more every day!
